Wow I love the way you mixed your kick, very pure and powerful. what synth did you use for the bass? I've been having trouble finding a nice phat saw bass for my trance stuff... 9 because I think the open hithat could have used more volume and the snare could have been less muddy.

I designed the bass in Sylenth, if I remember correctly. It might have been a sample fusion as well. Can't quite place it. And I'm good with a 9. It was made in about 30-40 minutes, so I'm cool with getting a point deducted for stuff like that lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the review.

the only peaves i have is the off beat intro and the bass. i think the bass is a little too throaty and and it doesnt fit the song.

The off beat part was meant to sound as if an actual person was playing it.. I dont have a real piano to work with... only my mouse! This is the only bass in my VST out of thousands that sound good.. Thanks for the review!

its cool

you should tweak your percussion mixing though because I can barely hear it. My advice is to give the cymbals a good amount of high but low mid and bass. On the kick, did you run it through the maximizer and eq it to have a small peak of upper mid? i think it would improve it a lot. the percussion was also panning a little heavy to the left. It kindof annoys my ears. not normally a fan of harsh, punchy mixes, but this rocks hard! I think I haer a touch of distortion in that down sweep tho. maybe it's just me. love to get some critique on my work! this is goin in the favs.
